Privacy Notice

How the TRUST Foundation handles the small amount of personal data we collect through this website.

Who we are

The Transdisciplinary Research Union for the Study of Trust (“TRUST”, “we”) is a US nonprofit public benefit corporation (501(c)(3)), 9812 Ceralene Dr., Fairfax, VA 22032, USA. For privacy questions, contact contact@t-r-u-s-t.org.

What we collect, and when

  • Contact form (/contact.html): name, email, and the message you send.
  • Network signup (/global-network.html): name, email, affiliation (optional), role, and your selected interests.

That’s all. We do not use cookies for tracking, we do not run advertising pixels, and we do not collect analytics that identify individual visitors.

Why we collect it

  • To reply to your message (contact form), or
  • To send you updates about TRUST research, meetings, and publications (network signup) — only with your consent.

How it’s handled

Form submissions are processed by Web3Forms (a form-forwarding service) and delivered to contact@t-r-u-s-t.org. Your information is stored in three places: (1) the Foundation’s email inbox, (2) Web3Forms’ submission logs (kept by Web3Forms for a limited period per their own policy), and (3) any contact list the Foundation maintains based on your signup. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

How long we keep it

We keep your information as long as you remain interested in TRUST activities. You can ask us to remove it at any time (see below).

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing contact@t-r-u-s-t.org. We will respond within 30 days. On a deletion request, we will remove your information from the Foundation’s inbox, from the Web3Forms submission logs, and from any contact list we maintain. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have specific rights under GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We will update this notice if our practices change; the date below shows when it was last reviewed.
